Exclamation Portfolio site

Hi there this is my first post on this forum, and I want to ask,

Can I completely change the look of my SBI template, use my custom background logos...?
Do i need to pay forward for SBI or at the end of the year?

Can I make my shop on that site with SBI to sell some products add shopping cart etc?

Is it easy to add Paypal to SBI site?

Thanks in advance!

To completely change the look of your SBI! site it's best to do what I did and design your site in another program like Dreamweaver. Then you'll have full control. I wouldn't recommend starting out this way though because it can be overwhelming.

Even with the standard SBI! templates you can still do some customization (colors, background, etc.) You just have the most control when you use your own software.

You can make a shop. See www.jugglenow.com This is an SBI! site with an integrated store/shop and payment options. Integrating PayPal is no different than a regular site. You just sign up with PayPal and paste the provided code into your site to generate the payment options/buttons, etc.

You pay $299 when you first buy it and then you renew in exactly one year.

I'm not sure what you mean about "putting up google ads related to a design theme?" Google ads are a great way to supplement your income. So if your site is about dental hygiene then you would serve up Google ads related to that topic so when people click on them you earn a commission. This can work with any kind of site.

As far as getting paid for a portfolio image I need more details. Not sure what you mean.

No it's not hard but you still have to learn how to use whatever software you plan to use. You don't have to use Dreamweaver. You can use Nvu, Komposer, CoffeeCup, FrontPage (yuck!), or whatever. The SBI! instructions are easy to follow but learning the software is what may take a little time.

Do you mean changing the graphic on the existing SBI! templates that are already done for you? If so, you're right. You just upload your customized graphic. I thought you were asking about designing a whole new site in Dreamweaver.

You can use Flash with SBI!. I don't know anyone who has done it but according to the folks in the SBI! forums you can do it.

Is Design portfolio topic too competitive on search engines?
Will I get more traffic if I have some unique material to show or sell?
