I've never been much into cloaking so I can't answer much about that. But if there's a link I'm going to use a lot I'll create a sub folder on my server and use a meta refresh tag so I don't have a messy URL to remember or type.

So my URL ends up being something like http://www.mydomain.com/folder and that redirects to my affiliate link. But I do that with many affiliate links, not necessarily SiteSell's. Depends on the situation. Just for the record, that's not to hide the link, it's for easier link management. That way if I ever decide to change the link I only have to update one file instead of updating all the links throughout my site.

HTML Code:
<html>

<head>

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;

url=http://www.your_affiliate_link.com">

</head>

</html>
Just create a new folder on your server (SBI, for example) and paste the above code in a new page and save it as index.html

Now when you send people to http://www.yourdomain.com/SBI it will redirect to your affiliate link.

Thanks Lisa,

Now this is what I'm talking about. I will implement the code on some of my websites.

Thanks Lisa

I love meta refresh, because like Lisa mentioned it makes affiliate link management so much easier, and it saves me quite a bit of time.

The way I do it is I create a new folder, where I include all my affiliate links... I like to have them all in one place

Sherif: So instead of yourdomain.com/folder/ your structure is yourdomain.com/allaffiliates/folder Is that what you mean? That's a good idea. Keeps your folder structure more concise.

Another incentive SiteSell offers as an affiliate is when you get into the President's Club (most sales in one day), they give you your own sub domain and you can choose the name. For example, I chose "website". So I can send people to website.sitesell.com or website.sitesell.com/passion and those are my affiliate links. Looks a lot cleaner if I'm doing advertising and I don't want to use my own redirect. I use it in my YouTube videos sometimes.

It's something to shoot for as an affiliate! I think there are other ways to get into the Club and sometimes you can just request it through Support if you can show your sales are increasing.

Yeah, sorta... they are domain.com/r/meta-refresh-html-file-for-affiliate-link-1, /meta-refresh-html-file-for-affiliate-link-2, etc

where "r" is the folder that contains all my meta refreshes
