Default SBI terminology?

Salut, I took babbles advice about websites and finally decided to think seriously about SBI but could you please answer a couple of nagging questions? does this site when you have paid your fee include paying for your domain, and placing it on the internet, or is there any payment on top of the original fee that I dont know about, and when completed the website, is it easy to configure the changes on my PC because remember I live in France and my area connection is Orange.fr
Sorry I am such a dumbclux, but this is all new to me?

Bye the way its really a good helpful website!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Podlod. Good question.
The SBI fee includes everything. Domain name, hosting, the whole shebang. No hidden fees ever. I've been with them 5 months now and it's simply the best value for my money for anything I have ever bought. Period.

You have nothing to worry about when it comes to you being in France. They're sbier's on every continent.
Good luck and let us know how you do.

SBI!'s system is completely browser-based.... even the website building portion of it so no software needed and you should have no problem using it. All the magic happens at http://login.sitesell.com and if you can access this page, then you will have no problems.

I bought SBI two months ago and havent paid anything more than the $299Great System! I’m sure you would have no problem in France with the domain name.

Good luck with your site!"

Salut, alors thank you for all your replies and i am now in the throws of going through the videos of site build, and no doubt along the way i will be asking you some bizzare questions regarding the making of the site. There is one question i would like to ask, and that is if i place photographs on my new site, can anybody that goes there download the photograph that i display there, or can i stop them from doing this? The reason i ask is because i am a photographer and i shall be selling some of my photos.

I have seen the videos of SBI and read all about the service and question I have is how many websites can one create with the account and how much web space do one get with the account
As there is no mention of that.

As far as I know there is no limit on space with the SBI! accounts but you only get one site for the $299/yr.

Salut, encore!!!!espoire ca va.
Well I am half way through this demo video on SBI and it is looking good but when I get to an interesting part it says I have to log in and I suspect that is you can only go further if you actually invest in their site, just like the carrot and the donkey i wanted more.
The other question I am inquiring about is when I do actually start building the site, do I open an account with PayPal before or after I have finished the website? and do I need to learn HTML?
Merci pour l'info!

Yes...you are right, you can't have the carrot (Site Central) until you register your domain name and you can't get your domain name (at least through SBI) until you purchase SBI.

In order to build the site you will not need HTML. I know nothing, although I have learned a little so far while building the site to do small things...and I intend to learn more. It is a great way to get your feet wet with HTML without having to really learn it in depth. They walk you through the codes you might need and make it very easy.

As far as Paypal...as I mentioned in the other reply, you will not need this until your site is underway.
