SBI Questions

Hello Lisa

I'm a site buildit owner also. I wanted to know a bit about your sites.

I know flat-stomach-exercises.com is done with sbi but what did you use for 2CreateAWebSite.com? If not sbi, why not?

Did you use the same for your forums? They look just like site buildit forums. You said your blog is done with Wordpress, are your forums a part of that? Or are they a part of 2CreateAWebSite.com?

Your sites are wonderful by the way. Had you not told us that your blog wasn't a part of it, not many, if anyone would have ever known.

I'm glad and very lucky to have came across your very well done videos on YouTube. I've added many of them to my YouTube channel.

You have done everything that's needed to become a successful online business owner.

Hi Jamina,

I moved your post to a separate thread since it was not related to the person's thread you replied to.

I built 2createawebsite before I tried SBI!. Flat Stomach (my SBI! site) is actually the last site I created (unless you count this forum).

You cannot use SBI! with a forum as of yet. You can create a forum on wordpress.com and then redirect your sbi site to it but you cannot host a wordpress blog or forum on SBI.

This forum is hosted at a regular host and I had to install it myself on the server. I bought a vbulletin.com license. I believe the SiteSell forums are run by phpbb.com. Two different platforms.

Wordpress is a CMS (Content Management System) commonly used for blogs and is different from a forum.

I've done a lot but it all happened very slowly. I started with the two sites (2create and flat stomach) and since then I've gotten into running a forum and now blogging.

Doesn't SBI now have a feature (as of this new year) called Infin It which allows you to integrate 3rd party sites with your SBI site? Such as Wordpress? I'm not quite sure how it works. But one thing that kept me from using SBI was that I couldn't use Wordpress which is more robust.

Yes, but as I understand it, it's not fully functional to where you can install WordPress on your SBI domain. I think you can just setup a redirect to your WordPress blog (still hosted on WordPress.com) but the address bar just shows your SBI! domain.
