Thank you for your very informative web site! I was curious, if someone already knows how to build web sites, has their own servers and ISP set up, knows how/where to find affiliates, and can determine via Google keyword tools what potential domains/sites are popular, is there still value of purchasing Site Built It? I'm just wondering what other benefits it offers. Thank you.

Hi Joseph

You could absolutely do the research and build your site yourself without SBI!. I did it with my first site. But I normally recommend SBI! to people just starting out because you have the luxury of having all the tools in one place along with the step by step guidance provided with the fee.

But to answer your question, yes you could do it alone. Would I recommend that option for the average person just starting out? Not really. But you certainly can succeed without it.

Hi Joseph,

I have read a few stories about experienced webmasters, who discover bad habits/mistakes when they go through with SBI... so even if you have successfully started a website before, you never know, maybe if you create an SBI site, it will succeed faster.
