Question Total Cost for 1 Website with SBI?

I've seen on the website $299, read through this entire website and SBI's in the last 4 days, including the 30 min video tutorial and it seems like the total price is $299 per website including everything. Despite this I saw where it's $825 for 9 training classes, I'm really curious what the training sessions are and if they're vital to really make money. I have a few good ideas and have really always wanted to make my own website and never really made the move. Please help any advice would be great. $300/yr is very little if SBI does what it says it does. Understand I'm pretty skeptical by nature. I'd just like to know the total cost per year, options, and if you learn or if it more or less does the marketing, research for you.

Hello pbaumcivil,

$299/year is the total price for SBI!

Just out of curiosity, where did you see the $825 for the 9-week course? Was it the other thread that I started or somewhere else?

Just to clarify, it does not do the marketing and research for you. It provides all the information, guides, and tools in one place, so it makes your research, marketing, management, and development a lot easier and a lot more convenient.

I hope this helped.

Sherif

Default Does help, what about costs for marketing and research?

I had read something about it shows u ways to market just as if you were paying, but that it's a lot of work. I honestly seek long term learning and not just somebody doing it for me once, i.e. if I did one site with SBI, could I do another on my own with another provider theoretically. I went through school in Engineering and am studying for my EIT and PE all the time working full time, so I know what hard work is.
The $825 i think it was from a discussion about a class in Arizona that a Masters student was going to take that was offered for free and someone stating preselling a 9 class seminar for $825. I can find it if you need clarification or haven't read that one yet. If SBI shows you the best ways to to a great website and start an internet business that in itself is worth $300 easily.

SBI is definitely worth the $300, because it will teach you/provide you with all the info you need to succeed online.

If you do one website with SBI and learn the ropes, so to speak, you can definitely create another one with another provider.

LOL, yes, about the course in Arizona... that was me. I won't take the class, though. It turns out that this "class" is only offered in 20 places in the world... if you're curious, you can read more about it here http://learn.sitesell.com/

I think with your worth ethic, you can definitely succeed. So many people fail online, in my opinion, because they think that succeeding online is going to be a ride in the park, and when it gets too hard, or takes too long, they quit.

By the way, what is EIT and PE. Sorry, I am not down the engineering lingo

Default Thank you, and what the EIT and PE are

Thank you for the information, besides all those great videos, what does SBI have/do that others don't.

EIT = Engineer in Training Exam, an 8 hour multiple choice, 4 hr morning 120 multiple choice consisting of Mathematics (up to Calculus 4), Prob and statistics, chemistry, electrical circuits, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics (heat transfer), statics (study of ojects in equilibrium), dynamics (study of objects in motion), economics, ethics, computers
Afternoon 60 questions similar subjects more difficult

PE = Professional Engineering Exam, 1 - 8 hr exam in Civil Engineering various (fluid mechanics, environmental, structures, construction, transportation, foundations)
2 1/2 hr survey exam, 2 1/2 seismic (earthquake) exam

And just to echo what Sherif said, the great thing about SBI! is that it doesn't do all the work for you. A lot of SBI! copy-cats generate the content and do a lot of things for the customer that you should do yourself and it ends up hurting you in the end.

Ultimately you are the one who determines if your site will succeed or fail but SBI! gives you all the tools you need to help write better content, build your pages and market your site.

Also if you want to add Content 2.0 that's another $99/year (I didn't buy that feature.) It just basically allows your pages to operate more like a blog so people can leave comments. Ken's daughter uses it and you can see an example below (bottom of the page).
