EASIER Way? I HOPE... SBI Homepage & adding More
OK I been using the storyboarding templates and adding/building my content into different page templates....Home, About Me, Knee Pain...etc
I took a closer look at the HOME page this am...the area to ADD content--- GRRRRRR
I cannot believe there is not a simple feature in that form to make a word Bold or add a color....this forum has more edit features Has to be an easier way??
So my half ass thinking is to ADD content in my test Blogspot site ...edit Bold & colors my content then copy that HTML code and paste it into the SBI pages....
Now that is my half-ass thinking BUT there has to be an easier way then TYPING HTML code to make a word Bold? test
...Very surprised the pages aren't easier to edit (bold, colors, italic etc...)
SHOW me a better way PLEASE

Wish I had better news for ya, but that's the only way unless you have some kind of web editing software that you can use and then you paste the actual code into the form after you code it.
That's what my friend does. She uses Dreamweaver to do her coding so she can easily bold, italicize, etc. and then she opens the "code view" in dreamweaver and pastes the info there.
I've always wished it was easier as well. I have to agree with ya.

That used to drive me crazy too, but I just got used to it. You can always "make a wish" for an easier way on the SBI forums. If you get enough support, SBI might do something about it.

Hi Bob,
Welcome to the wonderful world of SBI
Do you remember where it said "No need to learn HTML"? I have had to learn more HTML with SBI than I thought possible! But now that I am through the beginning stages I am glad I was forced to learn. It gave me a much better understanding of the process, the why's and the why not's. My beginning pages took forever to build and now I can fly through building a page complete with HTML like it was nothing. That is not to say I still wouldn't like SBI to have wysiwyg editor.
If you use your blog editor be sure to copy only between the body tags so you don't copy unnecessary or duplicate meta tags or codes into SBI. This will cause even more problems.
Good Luck,

I could be wrong, but my understanding is you can use any webdesign program with SBI.. you could even use microsoft word to write your pages, so it would be just like a word processor or something better equipped like netobjects fusion. I have only used the SBI sitebuilder so far for my sbi site, it is quite restrictive in some ways, but you can create some nice looking pages with it.

You can, but you can't publish it to SBI!'s servers though the software like you can a regular host. You still have to upload it through Site Central. That's the main difference. But that would solve your problem with having to type in the bold tags, etc. Like Peter, I've always used the sitebuilder.
