Default SBI query

a) Using SBI, are the tools restricted to only one domain name which you have registered or it is useable for other sites that you own?

c) What is so unique about SBI that I cannot find in some (free) tools like web ceo? Their version seem to also have the keyword search (brainstrom, daily world search and competition etc), promote site (submit url etc) ... I have no affiliation to them at all but I just did a search on free keyword search and found this as an example.

Thanks for any advice.

Seb

Welcome seb07!

The beauty of SBI! is that you really can use the brainstorming tool for any site. There's no way for them to restrict you from doing that. I use it all the time for my non SBI sites.

There are tons of tools out there like SBI! that have the built in SEO submissions, rankings. I'm not saying those aren't good and you can't build a successful site with them but with SBI! you also get a ton of other tools as well. SpamChecker, Blog, Value Exchange (helps find link partners), Form Build It!, autoresponders, Sitemap submitter, and I could go on for days. So it's really a comprehensive suite of tools that quite frankly no other product has.

I'm moving this thread to the SBI! forum, by the way.

The one thing that sold me on SBI! is that the proven success stories on the case studies page. The fact that over 60% of their customers end up in the Top 3% of Alexa for traffic received is astounding. That is an outstanding number if you consider 98% of all websites fail. Just think if more people used sbi, I'm sure that 98% number would drastically decrease.

Can web ceo or any other program prove anything like that? I would love to see their customer stats. I loved the fact I got to email 4-5 SBI! customers before buying who proved to me it worked.

thanks lisa / max ...

regarding the point on the traffic, am i right to say that keyword is "key" to a website success... if the "keywords" to your topic is already very well covered, even the best tool in the world would have problem directing traffic to your site rite?

Definitely. For example, if you targeted "money making" or "employment", those topics are so heavily saturated, it would be difficult to get a top ranking in the major search engines. But say you like "bike riding" and you want to build a site on that, sure it's not searched for as much as some of the popular keywords BUT you'd have a much better chance of getting some traffic because it's less competitive.

Also keep in mind that when you choose a topic, it's a cumulative effect of all your pages. For example I targeted "flat stomach" for my SBI! site but I get traffic from over 10,000 different keyword phrases each month because of my additional pages.

So let's say you target "bike riding", you would continue to build pages that are related to the main topic (dirt bikes, road bikes, bike helmets) so you'll begin to draw in traffic to these pages too.

I say that because many people get so concerned about how they are going to get traffic with their main keyword phrase, but you have to remember once you start building your site you won't just be relying on that one keyword. You will get found for tons of related phrases when you start adding more related content.

Wink help!!!!

hi there - we have a great idea that we think will be really successful. We know about computers but dont really know any of the jargon etc etc. We can easily make a website - but we just aren't sure how we can make money from it - as it is more of an information website. We are willing to put in the hard work and commitment and understand it will take time. But do we need to know the jargon etc or will SBI help us with all of this??

It's totally easy. To build you simply choose a template and then type in your text. The editor is a lot like the form you use here to type your message. It's literally point and click.

Go to http://demo.sitesell.com to see how it works.

Exactly! you don't have to worry about the main keyword you're targeting because you won't get much traffic form that. You will get most for your traffic from other related keywords on your tier 2 or tier 3 pages.

Information based websites are the best sites. You don't have to sell a physical product to make money. You can do advertising like Google ad sense on you website. Google pays you money (anywhere from couple cents to few dollars depending on the value of the keywords on your site) every time someone click on these advertising links. I'm no guru in this field but I'm sure you can find more info in the "Making Money Online" section of this forum.

Default SBI - how much can you do?

Can I ask, with SBI can you build a website like websitebabble without knowing actual HTML or other programming languages?

No unfortunately not yet. Once they allow mysql then you will be able to host something like this there but right now if you want a board like this you should use a regular host.
