Question Name park it wonder.

Hello i just purchased name park it ! for 9.95

My question is how do i park what i want now.? I've been going in circles. The forum says one has to have a homepage built, but i dont see how much sense that makes when some one can just park or register the other version of your domain name while your creating your homepage.

If i do have to create a hompage for my newly registered site before i can access name park it ! Can someone please let me know, Im loving SBI, but this piece makes no sense.
I need to park the other versions of my domain name b4 the leaches come freeloading!!

Hi Revenue

I've never used Name Park It! but I believe the part of about needing a homepage means if you want to redirect that name you just registered to your main SBI! site, you must have your homepage launched otherwise it won't show anything when someone types in that name you just registered.

But if you are just registering names just to keep other people from taking them then you don't have to worry about having your homepage ready. They'll just sit out in cyberspace until you're ready to use them. You don't have to setup a redirect on these names you're registering if you don't want to. Some people just buy them to keep others from taking their ideas, names, etc. So sounds like you're fine.

Thanks Lisa you're great, However the problem is im trying t use park it to protect my newly registered domain with SBI. I've already paid for it got the confirmation and the order number saying that i paid for it, I've never had a problem parking anything til now, Name Park it just isnt user friendly yet.
Its just i got this feeling like someone could just start freeloading any second now, i cant take a chance.
Thanks Anyway.

I think im just about to go over to godaddy or somebody else to park for the meantime while i figure this thing out, so i can park them back to SBI later.
Before they get taken.

Thanks.

Hey revenue,

Let me just make sure I understand you. You've already chosen your domain name for SBI that you are planning to build your site on right? For example, flat-stomach-exercises.com is my SBI domain where my content resides but getaflatstomach.com is a name I created to redirect (this would be my name park it domain but I used another registrar)

And just for the record if you do go to godaddy to register those other domains you don't need to involve sbi or name park it. You can just redirect them to your sbi site from godaddy or just let them sit on their servers.
