Congratulations alpha7, it was "New Deal". Sorry for the delay in awarding the prize alpha7 (and everyone else). Franklin D Roosevelt's "New Deal" was what I had in mind and Alpha7 mentioned Herbert Hoover and it caused the depression so I wasn't sure whether or not to award him.

Then I decided since the answer I wrote down was "new deal" and I didn't specify whether or not you had to give the correct president associated with it, that's not alpha7's fault and he should be awarded since he clearly gave the answer I was seeking.
