Default Win $50 (USD) - WB Contest #6

It's election time here in the U.S. so this contest will be based on U.S. presidential history. Don't worry if you're not from the U.S. and don't have much knowledge of our history, there's always Google right!

Same rules apply, but I'll paste them below for any newcomers. Please make sure you read everything below and understand you must be able to accept PayPal payments in order to participate.

    Rules:

    1. You are only allowed 1 guess every 24 hours so make it count. If you answer more than once within 24 hours, both answers will be null and void (even if you answer correctly.) So make sure you check your timestamp on your previous post before you answer.

    2. You are not allowed to edit your posts in this forum after you submit (I've turned that feature off to prevent abuse) so make sure you check and re-check your answer before you post. There are no exceptions to this rule.

    3. Please only reply with your answers and do not start up additional conversations within the contest thread. I want to keep this thread clean with answers only.

    4. Winners will be paid by PayPal only. Make sure your account is setup and valid before participating. I will contact you using the email address in your WB profile so make sure it's an active/valid email.

I will not be using any other form of payment. If the winner cannot be paid by PayPal for some reason then the contest will start over.

    5. I reserve the right to amend the rules or cancel this contest at any time (I won't, but I have to say that for legal reasons. LOL)

Clue #1 is below. I will be adding more clues every 24-36 hours until some one guesses correctly. Good luck everyone.

    Clue #1: 20th Century
    Clue #2: Before 1975
    Clue #3: The Great Depression

    William McKinley, Jr.

Reelected in 1900, he is the first president of the 20th century and the last of the 19th century. He was assassinated in 1901, which also makes him the first president to be assassinated in the 20th century.

Franklin D. Roosevelt had both the shortest term and the longest for a president that was not assassinated. The shortest because the inauguration was moved from March 4th to January 20th which shortened his first term. The longest because he stayed in office for 12 years.
