I've applied for google adsense a couple of times and i've been rejected for

-Difficult site navigation
-Insufficient content

Your forum has very little content so I'm not surprised Google had an issue with this. You may have to wait until your membership is up and you have more posts. So just as Google said, you need more content.

Let me ask you this. Do you have another site that can help you promote your forum? I can speak from experience that it's hard to get traffic to a forum if you don't already have an existing site with traffic.

Actually from Google's perspective, they may well consider that you have almost no content. What you are counting as content and what others may see as content may not be the same.

Only the posts are really content. The structural elements of the forum setup would not be considered content.

The posts that are essentially welcome posts take up some space but offer no real information. Almost all the other posts all fall into two categories. Most are graphical ads. At least one references a copied article. Unless I missed something, only the one post about thrones would be considered content at all.

I would suggest that you need to see that your site has the equivalent of ten pages of worthwhile information that readers might be looking for before resubmitting to Google.

The comment about poor navigation is another matter. The forum navigation is normal and should be fine. Very likely this issue comes from the fact that you do not have clear navigation to some of the basic elements that they would be looking for and you may not have them.

For one thing, they require you to have a privacy page that meets their standards and I do not see that. Also, you would probably benefit from including an about page and perhaps a page describing the site's purpose or goals.

Good point James. The only reason I have been able to use AdSense with this forum is I got approved through my site. Had I just applied with this forum I often wonder if I would have been accepted since "posts" are not necessarily considered quality content. I suppose a heavily trafficked forum with a lot of posts may get approved but I wouldn't be surprised if they set the bar much higher when applying with a forum.

Have you tried other ad services like Chikita? They can be a good alternative for those who have been denied by Google.

I would try some of the other networks. Try a simple service like MaxBounty. You can easily qualify for that.

I made a new website with more content / new forum , and ill post threads once i get home , and btw it wont let me post link :L

Work on building up your traffic / members before Adsense. You need traffic to get your ads clicked.

It is tougher to get AdSense account this days. I still remember back in 2009, I only have 1 post blog at blogspot.com. Even that post just says welcome to my new blog!.

My application was approved in a few days only.

Sorry you got declined, but as others said, get your post content up and then reapply. Also, as others have alluded to, possibly try spinning off a blog from your forum topic and try to get some natural search engine traffic. I am actually going to wait about 6 to 9 months before spinning off a forum from my website topic. I figure by that time I'd have an audience built up to supply content for my forum.

I have no issues applying for adsense for my Blogger blogs, even if there's zero content, but I think it has something to do with my other blogs already being approved. Also don't forget to add the Privacy Policy for adsense to your site about cookies. Not sure if that has anything to do with it (I still have a few sites that don't have it but are monetized). You can copy the privacy policy from here: http://www.jensense.com/2008/03/05/a...ishers-to-use/ and then change to your own site name and url.

I was told not to apply to Google Adsense unless I had at least 100 articles and a huge amount of traffic. Something prompted me to try anyway.

I went and read Google's policies and did everything that they recommended. I Had about 10 articles on the site. One of them got 30,000 hits the day after it was posted.

We were approved and only had the site up for two weeks. It has now been up for 5 weeks and we keep trying to add content every couple of days. Almost everything is original.

I began the website just as a hobby not knowing that I could at least possibly get the cost of it covered. Somewhere along the line I stumbled upon one of Lisa's videos and decided to submit the site to Google.

A week or so after, I applied to Buy/Sell/Ads and was denied.

We have so much to learn. If the site makes enough to just cover costs, we will be happy. We registered it as a business as well for tax deductions so that we don't lose what little the site makes. If it flourishes, even better.

buy/sell/ads has a minimum traffic requirement, but Adsense does not (yet).
