Default What books have you been reading recently?

What fiction or non fiction have you enjoyed lately? There is nothing like a good long form book to make a change from staring at a screen all day. (Although I bet someone is going to mention the Kindle )

Today I've been reading Steven King's Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption from one of his anthologies. Before that, it was Karl Pilkington's An Idiot Abroad (LOL).

Before that, Poke the Box by Seth Godin.

It's been so long.. I think the last one was a political book from Marine Le Pen.. But that was a long time ago..
Also as I had some affiliate money from an amazon account which I can't take by check I converted it in gift card on amazon and bought a big book that I have received, it is from Stephen King, name "under the dome", but I haven't opened it yet, I'll read it whenever I feel like making a change from staring at a screen all day :-)

I recently started reading Freud's 'The Interpretation of Dreams'. This far it seems to be an interesting read.

I wish I had time to read anything, even a book. I have two jobs, two kids, two dogs that need walking and february 1st I started my own real life business, so actually I have three jobs now.
I'd settle for a magazine at this point.

That's exactly what I do - while going for a walk, in the gym and even while working(multitasking!). And yes I listen to some on the Kindle using its audio or the text-to-speech feature for non-audio releases. It saves me lots of time - for a successful internet marketer time is money!!

Here are some books that "I listened to" recently:

    The Racketeer by John Grisham

The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz - Old but Gold!

Btw, those links are not affiliate links...lol.

    Default Reading is good!

I recommend some Brian Tracy and John Maxwell too.
Both of these are excellent. Brian Tracy's Maximum Achievement may well be the best book on personal achievement ever written. No one since Napoleon Hill has been as thorough a student of what really produces success in the real world as Brian Tracy.

Personally I have been reading a good bit lately about internet marketing of all things. Steve Scott and Jeremy (Shoemoney) Schoemaker are two I am finding to be quite helpful.

Really do not have time to read! In addition to working hours, most of the time is spended in the Internet

I agree - I have most of Brian Tracy's MP3s. If you want to succeed in IM, or for that matter in anything, mindset is everything, and the rest just follows somehow(including hard work and perseverance!).

If you want to read about internet marketing and keep yourself updated this is a good aggregator site:

Affbuzz - Affiliate Marketing Industry News & Blog Aggregator

Of course, there are many more sites that provide excellent content but they are tucked away and may not be lucky enough to feature in an aggregator site.

Hey don't knock the kindle I just made $25 on Expo for doing a review of our two kindles (1 keyboard paperwhite and 1 Fire).

I'm in the Bible a lot (KJV). There's also a lot of Historical Fiction I enjoy reading (Jane Kirkpatrick's books are really good). I also read a lot of what I write... I'm in the middle of writing a novel (book 1 in a 4 book series).

I listened to Brian Tracey's "The Luck Factor" audiobook yesterday. Brilliant information and I really like him. He is perhaps my favourite success author of all. I'm a fan of Dale Carnegie too who arguably paved the way for some of the contemporary success authors.

I'm really against the snake oil types who peddle "Millionaire Mindset" courses for so many thousands of dollars. Marshal Silver, as documented by Louis Theroux, is one such example. The Wizard of Oz, no doubt.

I get tired just reading about what you are doing! Makes me feel lazy!

    Keep up the good work.
