I use FileZilla for the most part, but some times I use Dreamweaver.
I use FileZilla because it was recommended by my hosting company, so I got used to this and I like it.
I have been using File Zilla ever since I started working with FTP because it was the only software that I heard about. But I am not fully satisfied with it. One of the reason is, it's slow (slower than file upload by cPanel's file manager) and the main reason is, it has no built in code editor. I am looking for an ftp client with built in code editor so that I can edit codes within the FTP client. I can now but it used third party tools which is not convenient in my opinion.
So I am still in search for better alternative to File Zilla.
I use Cyberduck. For some reason FileZilla doesn't like my server and times out often. That and I personally can't stand the multiple-confirm on editing files (usually if I'm in to edit something, it is very deliberate).

FileZilla as it gives you the ability to easily view the full file structure of the website or file server you’re working with. The application also shows you the status, commands and responses from your server in text, which is pretty cool if you
I will only use FileZilla. I don't use the Visual Studio built-in FTP. Easy to use: Right click the file and click upload.
Word of caution: Check that you uploading the file into the correct folder.

Filezilla is the best acording to me so it is more good to use FileZilla//
I use WINScp. I like how it support SFTP (secure FTP) so my data is encrypted when working on my websites.
