Hi all. I have a question about optimizing my new site I'm working on. Will the search engines frown on using the full domain in all of my links and buttons I use to navigate my site. Likehttp://www.mysite.com/about.html & http://www.mysite.com/contact.html). Will they think I'm trying to spam the system or not?
they probably wont count it as spamming, but it's better to make links like "/about.html" instead of "Domain.com/about.html" instead for yourself. For example, if you want to change it to different domain, or you want to test something on some other server (your own computer for example) or just different directory then you wouldn't have to change every link. Also it will make code for site a bit shorter which is always good
