Default Which is more important?

Which is more important between your google page rank and your Alexa ranking? I noticed that my Alexa ranking is constantly getting better (but still very far from the top 100,000), but my page rank is not moving as fast. I just go a "1" about a week ago.
Which one should I be more concerned about?

in my opinion, neither!

Alexa is especially unreliable. It's data is often screwed up. For example, it once reported that youtube had surpassed myspace in pageviews where as a reliable data company had said for the same month that myspace's pageviews were over 50 million whereas for youtube they were only 12.6 million. This goes to show Alexa's unreliability

PageRank is also not that good for me. It only works for the google search engine, i think, and other search engines remain unaffected. What ever the case, i do not personally like both of these options.

I agree with siyab. While they hold some value, they don't hold nearly as much weight as they used to. The PR on my site was a 5 for nearly 4 years and I just dropped to a 4 (probably because Google now devalues paid links and I used to pay for links a long time ago) BUT even though my PR is down a point, my Google traffic has been up to an all-time high for the past 3 months.

Same with Alexa, the numbers bounce all around but my traffic has been increasing steadily. The Alexa rank is dependent upon people who install the the Alexa toolbar on their browser so it's not counting traffic from people who visit your site without the toolbar installed.

I'm in agreement with the above mentioned. Bottom line its the rankings & traffic that is more important than anything else.
