Most of my traffic so far has come from forum signatures and people typing in my domain and coming back. I post a lot in forex forums, I always have done as it helps me to learn, getting traffic to my site is now a nice bonus. I have managed to collect 30 email addresses from my traffic. Whenever I update my blog, they get an update by email, this has been making a few come back every time I update. I'm just going to keep at it and build content and update my blog regular. My niche is good in the respect that there is always something new to write about :-) Thanks for the help

That's great work. Keep working at it. The traffic will increase with time. Building you subscriber list is import because these people will begin to trust you over time. Later you can start promoting related stuff on your blog, make recommendation, write unbiased reviews and such and that what will bring sales. I think its mport to gain your visitors trust before you can begin to sell anything to them.

Thanks, I am going to continue building my site and my reputation in my niche. I am in no rush, I want to take my time. I haven't even thought about selling products yet, though perhaps I will need to at some point. I know you can earn nice commissions referring people to brokers. I will look into that in the future.

My traffic is slowly increasing again. I am getting more traffic once again from Google. I guess this is par for the course with a new Web site.

Yep... sure is. I've never created a site that didn't have a love/hate relationship with Google in the beginning.

Do you use mybloglog with your blog? I don't know much about blogging but i frequently read people mentioning using mybloglog to gather a list of readers to your blog

I read this guy's blog frequently and his blog he centered around building traffic to your blog and monetizing your blog.

His story of he started earning good money from his blog is inspirational too.
