Default my articles

hi folks

quick question. I have been busy writing articles for my site and I have a few approved on ezinearticles.com, my articles are showing on two other sites. Knowing that google doesn't like duplicate content, will they make sure that I get the credit as I wrote the article? Also, would it be wise to ensure my article is listed from my site on google before submitting to ezinearticles to ensure google knows its mine?

any help would be cool
Peter

Peter, I recommend re-writing your articles before submitting them to article directories. You want your website to be as unique as possible, a place for people to get information that they can't anywhere else.

If you write an article for your site and want to publish it, just try re-writing it from memory. You'll be amazed at how differently it comes out. Also consider making it an abridged version so you can direct readers to "learn more" in your resource box.

I do submit my blog posts unchanged as articles sometimes. I don't really work at SE ranking on my blog. It is primarily for driving viewers to my website so I don't really worry about duplicate content there.

I hope this helps.

As far as duplicate content goes read this http://www.liztomey.com/my-last-stan...icate-content/

Theres a specific type of duplicate content she thinks is bad but it may be just her opinion. I think if duplicate content was a problem with Google then Associated Press would be out of business...

I do agree with Theresa...your resource box is your gun and the links are ammunition. When I submit articles I link to my site off of a keyword AND put in the URL. I've used PLR content and all I did was rewrite the headline, intro, and last paragraph with my keywords in mind. Cut out some stuff i didn't like and added some stuff I thought was missing...again with keywords in mind. This will change the PLR by about 30-60%, making it unique. You could rewrite more of it but if your going to do that you might as well write a unique article

I don't submit PLRs to article directories...I only them sparingly or if I'm out of steam and want to post something.
