Default no traffic from msn and yahoo

Just wondering why im not receiving any traffic from either msn or yahoo. All my search engine traffic is coming from google.

I know yahoo is harder to score. However, i checked msn for my site links and it has all my pages indexed (23 total pages). I also checked for keywords thats score high on google. On msn, my pages score the same for the same keywords..usually between page 1 to 3.

I'm thinking techy people don't use msn and prefer google for their answers?

On the other hand, from google i'm getting 50-80 hits a day to my total of 22-23 content pages. In two months my site is been up, i'm averaging 54 clicks from goolge a day.

I'm not sure if im allowed to share this but i wanted to get an idea of if this is normal or i should be getting more organic by now? The traffic from google is been the same for last month now. Did the traffic increase for guys as your site got older?

MSN has never liked my site much. Once and a while it will show me some love, but not often. Right now only 1% of my traffic comes from them. Yahoo traffic makes up about 6%.

I think it does depend on the niche/site because there are others that do quite well with these two engines. But I do think a lot of it is because they are slowly losing much of their traffic to Google. Because even when I rank #1 or #2 for some of my popular keywords in MSN I still don't bring in much more traffic from them... maybe a percentage more if that.

To rank well in MSN and Yahoo! do the following:

1) Include targeted keywords in title tags
2) Use meta tags and include the keywords in these tags.
3) Add images and put the keywords in alt tags
4) Use the keywords at the start of the page and the end.
5) Use h1, h2 tags and include your keywords in them
6) See that the targeted keywords are repeated many many times in the body

Do this and you will see quick results in Live and Yahoo! It takes some time for Google to rank well and these don't seem to work well with Google.
