The best thing to do to increase your traffic is to continue writing good quality content for good keywords (good search volume with low competition), and to continue to build links.

Also, contribution to forums and blogs in related markets, social networking, and networking with other webmasters in your market/niche.

Hope this isn't too vague and help you get started.

Increasing traffic can be a slow process, but as long as you continue to write good content you should see a steady increase in traffic.

SSMorgan provided some good tips. One thing I have noticed with my blog, is that as i wrote more posts, people started to link to my blog. This provided me with additional traffic sources. For example, some included links when they answered a question on Yahoo Answers, which provides some nice traffic.

Another effective method was putting links to specific posts on Wikipedia. I found that i could be a hundred or so visitors a month from just one link.
