As this forum grows, I've noticed this happening more and more when I do Google searches. It's kinda cool to see your forum showing up in certain search results. James, your post reminds me of the spammers that come here to self promote and then leave. What they don't realize is that if they build up a reputation and provide useful help like Govindji_Patel, yourself and many others who post here often, that is a much more effective way of getting traffic than spamming because they're building up credibility.
When I was more active on other forums (before WB), I would get private messages from people all the time asking me for my affiliate links so I could get credit for certain sales or emails from people who went to my site after reading my info on the forum, etc. No matter what, it always comes back to providing quality content no matter the platform (blogs, websites, forums, etc.)
Good reminder and shows why it's important to write useful posts! You never know when your post will show up.
