sammyspam is right. The more often the site is updated the higher the relevance for Google. Static sites don't automatically tell Google, or any engine, they've updated so YOU have to tel Google.
Put a XML site map on your site

You don't have your link in the post so I'm just suggesting a few things i know work for a static site. What you want to happen is have Google crawl your site. That won't happen unless there is a reason...this is how you give Google a reason:
- Re word a few articles and post them on ezines and other article directories. make sure you point to your site off of a keyword in your bio box. DON'T point to the same article you put on ezines.
- Stumble a few of your articles you WANT indexed and your home page...just a few and be sure to stumble other stuff ant about a 5 to 1 ratio. That's 5 of some other peoples stuff to ONE of your own pages. Do this every 3 or so days. Ideally you want others to BM you site so find some folks to do it and/or put a BM thingy on your site so visitors can BM.
- Create a free blog on Wordpress.com and/or blogger and when you write put a link to you site and anything specific you want Google to see. The post and the linked to article should be related...this is a "Contextual Link"
That ought to get you started.
