Default How relevant is this?

One of my Tier 3 pages has ranked at number 1 for the past 2 weeks on Windows Live . Is this just as good as a # 1 rank on Google or Yahoo? (I've always assumed that Google and Yahoo are more important than Live). And, is having a high rank for a T3 just as good as one for a T2?

Yeah for sure, if you get anyone of your keywords related around your niche in a major search engine its great! Live.com doesn't get as many as google but alot of people still use as there default search engine mainly because live.com is owned by Microsoft her own most peoples OS's and that's there start off search engine.

Yeah, I sort of take any Live traffic as a bonus. I've been #1 and #2 for some pretty competitive phrases for a while and Live brings me less than 1% of my traffic. And it keeps getting worse. I use to get about 5% of my traffic from MSN/Live, now Google and Yahoo are really dominating.

So hopefully with time those phrases you're ranking for on Live will also show up well on Yahoo and Google. Then you'll REALLY start seeing some more traffic.
