Building backlinks: variety or related?

When getting links, make sure you mix and match the anchor text with the contents and theme of your web site. Backlink profile usually refers to a broad mixture of different types of links combined with different anchor texts. Different types of links could include links from directories, social network sites, blogs, articles, regular websites, forum posts etc. Some experts also think it should include a mixture of both dofollow and nofollow links.

What do you think on this ?

I would predominantly use your main keyword phrase in the anchor text!

Agreed, Using targeted keyword in anchor text can help well, but if we are doing this where we don't have any relevancy, will this still help us?

Yes, making a variation in anchor texts is a wise idea, but then again they must be relevant to page content. You shouldn't not only focus on one or two linkbuilding methods. Take advantage of all the techniques.

I guess the related links from various sites! So it is high relevant and u can make sure the quantity as well!

more quality back links on related niche, whether do follow or no follow can still help you improve your link popularity. Although do follow links are more advantageous, no follow links are still links which can still give you traffic, which is also a good thing.

I have heard a lot of people talk about backlink in other place, relevant link will be better ,tips are that do link buliding not in quantity but in quality.

linking your site to blogs and forums that are related to your niche can be very useful, well this method is time consuming but it will surely help a lot in improving your sites ranking on search engines, the vistors to the site where you had posted your link can be a source of traffic that’s why it is much better if you make your comment more interesting so that you can attract people to click your link.
