i just finish my website search engine optimization (on-page). now i'm going to work on off-page optimization.

i made a strategies for link building and specially focusing inner pages.

my question is would it helps to get PR of my home page as well ???

You need to concentrate firstly on your home page, than on relevant and necessary pages in your site.
PR of inner pages does not deal with PR at home page.

Well, page rank is an important factor when it comes to SERPs ranking and in SEO.
If you want to have a high PR... you should have excellent and unique contents and you should gather QUALITY links though link exchange, social bookmarking, article submission and other link building strategies...

PR is overrated. My PR has been at a 4 on 2Create for about five years now even though my traffic has more than quadrupled since over that time. It went to a 5 for a brief stint and then back down to a 4. Nevertheless my traffic has continued to increase over the years.

It's OK to see where you rank but I wouldn't lose sleep trying to improve it. Just keep building good content and people will want to link to you.
