    Default SEO plugin YOAST

    I've been using wordpress plugin by YOAST to help my SEO but it doesn't seem to be working. Actually brought it down :C

    My website has been up for 5 days and here are the stats
    Day 1: 45 views
    Day 2: 38 views

    Downloaded YOAST plugin

    Day 3: 28 views
    Day 4: 15 views
    Today 8 views ((

    I understand the best way to get views to your site is SEO. Not so much Twitter, Facebook social media ect. But I don't know why my traffic has gone down. Maybe I've miss placed something?

    Hey Alec,

    Five days is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to test anything with SEO. It is very normal for a brand new site to fluctuate, and actually if you are getting 28 views on day 3 from the search engines, you are actually ahead of most people! LOL The Yoast plugin is not guaranteed to bring you more traffic. It's just to help you utilize all the important tags and ensure you are doing all the SEO basics.

    I think I had messed up my Meta tags/ keywords and had to many. Now I have 112 visitors today !

    Great to hear that you have cracked it!

    You could also try Pinterest for traffic. The traffic to my blog has doubled in a few months since I have been on Pinterest.
    People love great images. Your site is ideal for that. Can you add a pinit button plugin to encourage people to pin your images?

    I'm only on Twitter and Facebook at the moment. But I should expand to other sites like Pinterest, MySpace, Instagram ect.

    yes of course i agree with lisa yoast plugin providing the help for utilize some important tags i use this plugin but not get page view i prefer social media optimization are good practice to promote your website and getting a good number of page view nice job keep it up
