Google first index sites meta and title as keyword. When we search some thing, Google looks for which site have the related meta keyword. Now comes to how to rank them. At this point Google look for which site have best back link according to the keyword we search. But if we think large amount of back link will give us rank that's wrong. Only link doesn't work. Google count only those link, from which we have some visitor at minimum level. There is some factor about these link like Do-follow, no-follow. Google doesn't count low pr no-follow links but they look for the percentage of Do-follow, no-follow links. So we cant build only do-follow links. Its look unnatural to Google and for these we can be demoted. This is a little idea about Google algorithm if you know anything more don't forget to share.
