I actually have 3 accounts on Twitter. 1 for my business and 1 is my personal account to stay connected with friends and family and i made that 2nd as i lost the paasword of my previous account. So in totality i have 3 accounts but only 2 are functioning.

creating multiple accounts is sometimes against the guidelines but it actually depends on site's rules.

You can make as many twitter account as you can. Creating accounts is not a big deal. But why do you need so many accounts. If you have 8 different niche websites then you can divide them into 3 accounts. Select websites which are closely related among your site and start promoting with 3 account.
Try to create less accounts and promote them effectively. It needs lot of time to build your network.
One suggestion is you can create one account and add all group of people who are interested in any of your niche websites.
