Chitika is a good option however chitika can be used to monetise Unites State's traffic. its not a good idea to use chitika if Majority of ur visitors are not from US.

Chitika was basically started on the lines of Adsense, they made a huge marketing efforst while launching it. but now they have gone down, i havent seen them a lot around.

I've just visited chitika website; it seems its like adsense. Its look like is a good monetizing site.

It is similar to Adsense, and you can also use it on the same pages as Adsense. The difference is that there are many configuration options to customize the look of the ads, and the you can set it so only your search engine traffic will see the ads.

That being said, since they Chitika is much smaller than Google, they don't have the large advertising pool that Google has. Because of this, you may see ads that aren't exactly related to the content of your page.

I found the earnings per click, and the click-through-rate to be lower for Chitika ads. Your mileage may vary.

I make about $100 per month with Chitika. It's a nice addition to AdSense because the ads only show when someone enters your site via other search engines.

Does the company have a minimum amount that you must meet in order to get paid?

By what TehcieGuy Said, it sounds like you get paid per click, is this true?

From my experience is that they paid me per click. I'm not sure if that also pay per thousand impressions as well. I may give them another try.

Chitika is good for an additional source of income, especially because you can use it alongside adsense. I just don't like the CPC. My click through rate with chitika averages 10%, but I make about 1/2 the amount I make with adsense. And my adsense CTR is anywhere from 2.5 to 5% most days.

Well i can't say much about chitika as my self don't know much about it. i have never ever used it.
