Default google problem, need help

hello,
i have two websites built on the same keyword and hosted on the same provider. one of them is 2 years old, the other one was created a few time ago. the first site was on the first page in google search.
now, the second site is placed in first places in google search but the first site disappeared. some times they shift back. the second one disappeared and the first site is in first places.
can i have both together on first page in google search?

Google is an interesting company. The challenge is to find what is affecting your ranking and then do the same on each one. A lot of Google ranks have to do with quality inbound links which could be different depending on how long you have been working on link building. Also, if both sites are very similar, Google will -not- want to place both on the same page, especially if from the same IP address. Google wants to give the searcher variety.

Omidiu, it sounds like you have two sites that are really the same. I'm pretty sure Google is going to figure that out. Are you doing this just to show up twice on the first page of google or do you have some other reason for having such similar sites?

one of them is a subdomain and is made in java on free platform. i want the second one to look better and have my own domain, and since the first one was already on the first page i wanted both there.

Removing the link between them is a good idea. Try to also mix up your anchor text on your backlinks and where you get backlinks from. If you have to many links from the same place using the same anchor text it can hurt your site because its unnatural.
