interesting pictures and videos can captures people's interest. It is also like creating an interesting and unique promotional ads to get traffic but some people find images more interesting than on just text.

What about link wheel, hub pages, squidoo lens and RSS feeds? Are these techniques old?
Video SEO...make sure that you write a really good description of your video. You should include a link to your website in the beginning of the information you are submitting.
The more content submitted with the video the better. Why? I thought you'd never ask!
What I have noticed is that more websites will copy your content and post it with the Youtube video on their site. This brings in additional traffic because some of the sites that are doing this have high Google PR.

What's good about video optimization is the viral aspect of it. I've been doing some video optimization/promotion in Youtube for quite some time now. It's a good way to generate additional site traffic. I also post the videos on social networking sites like Facebook and forward them on email.
I also think this including video on the site helps to increase traffic to the site. In my opinion it certainly helps to increase the page rank. Adding videos or you tube makes the post more attractive.
