Default Keyword density.

I have submitted an article but my article was not approved because of keywords density so i want to know what i should do. How many keywords should i use. Are there any required number of keywords in an article?

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

When you say you submitted an article, where did you submit the article?

basically keyword density = (no. of time keyword appearing in the content) / (Total no. of words in the content)
On an average keyword density = below 5% or 5%
not more than that.

You should write your articles for people and not search engines - that is what you should do. Write your article as if your mother, father, sister or brother were going to read it.

Do not count keywords, and do not try to write your articles to gain higher search engine rankings.

I believe that with a little attention to keyword density an article can be written that would be acceptable to all who read it, including search engine spiders.

Adding keywords in the right places really doesn't take a lot of effort. Once you get used to writing with them in mind, they will flow onto the web pages effortlessly.

I like to get them in the beginning, the middle and towards the end of the article. It really doesn't take much effort to do that and can add great depth to the possibilities of getting better placements with Google.

I guess I should have phrased my reply a little different.

If people would use basic grammar guidelines, as if they were writing an essay, then they would not have to worry about writing for search engines or counting keywords. Because the keywords would already be in their natural place for human readers and search engines.

In the opening paragraph, when the author defines the topics of the article, that will put the keywords in the first sentences of the article - which is a good place for spiders as well.

In each paragraph, the first sentence should contain the topic - which are also the keywords.

Closing paragraph should review each topic - this will also contain the keywords.

This is basic grammar, but will also make it easy for search engine spiders to find the keywords.
