Default Has anyone tried "Activated Adsense Accounts" ?

Hi,

Has anyone tried these so called "Activated Adsense Accounts" ?

I have seen people selling accounts with $50 credit [Adsense, Adcenter or YSM] for as low as $5-8. I am thinking of buying one and checking it out, but don't know for sure if it is legal or not.

If anybody has tried it, share your experience.

Search engines pay commission if you refer advertisers to them. If they activate several of these accounts and give you $50, you spend the $50 and you when you add more money to spend on ads, I am sure they will collect commissions. Because it looks like a great deal ($50 in ads for $5-$8) they will probably get volume, and with volume, maybe they get back-end commissions.

I am not sure if this is acceptable by these search engines, but this may be their creative marketing method.

Of course, it could be scam to steal your credit card number.

ncaditya, your post was a few days ago, have you looked more into this? I am kind of curious, would you send me a link, please.

Thanks.

Sherif

I did some research and found out some info on this!

Basically, these people buy a virtual credit card for about $5 or $4 or so from some third party and then create an account with Adwords, YSM or Adcenter.

Sometimes these will provide bonus or they may use a voucher that will increase the credit.

Then they sell it at forums for a small profit. I have heard good reviews about these and many people have claimed good results.

However, one has to take certain precautions like hiding IP, using throwaway domains, etc as it will be difficult to create multiple accounts without detection.
