Does anyone know of a system where you get paid per click? As in, you get the affiliate link, and every time someone clicks it, you get a small amount of money?

Thanks!

Hi Shaun,

I know you are already familiar with them, but Googe Ads works that way. There aren't many like that. I think Yahoo has a similar program, but last time I checked (which was a few months ago) it was in Beta, and they were not accepting too many people.

I think for the most part, companies like to see some sort of action (sale or lead) from the click before they pay out commission.

May there are other are other affiliate programs out there that pay per click. Anyone?

Sherif

There are many pay per click networks, but the leaders are Google Adsense, followed by Yahoo! Publisher network (still in beta since around 2 yrs!)

Some of the 2nd tier networks are exoclick, clicksor, bidvertiser, adbrite, etc. These pay real bad when compared with Adsense or YPN. You are very lucky of you get 2 cents per click. These should be considered only if no other choice is available.

Ah, no, I meant where you get a link, not a bar of ads. Sorry about the confusion!

Adsense has link ads too. It doesn't have to be an affiliate link though.

There are other systems like www.text-link-ads.com which pay for the link on a flat basis per month. However, with Google's latest stance on selling links, we cannot be sure if selling links may cause bans or loss in search engine ranking positions.

So you mean where the company would give you a link something like...

http://www.companyabc.com/yourlink123.html and you earn when someone clicks on that link?

I've never heard of such a program. I know Commission Junction has some pay per lead programs where you can earn money by getting people to sign up for newsletters, email accounts, etc. but I've never heard of any setup like the one you mentioned Shaun.

Hello Shaun here are some site that may be of use to you. I am not affiliated with any of these site but I do find them very informative and think they may be very useful to you and others in the forum.

The first one is a site called ClickQuick.com. They review many affiliate programs and their information is very useful.

This link is to the Pay-per-Click area but there is very good information throughout the site.

Another one is AffiliateRanker.com. In order to join the affiliate programs this site reviews, you have to sign up and become a member. However if you just want to have a look at the affiliate programs including pay-per-click and pay-per-lead you can do so without signing up.

Another one is MommysHelperOnline.com. This is a site that lists and reviews, very well I might add, many affiliates to choose from.
