Default AdEngage Can Take Thier Ads & Shove Them Up Thier.................

First.. sorry bout the title im alittle pissed off.

Ive been using adengage since i first started my site. I have two sites running adengage (one is an old forum that is no longer active, the other is my main forum)

Today they removed the active forum, saying it didnt have enough traffic... yet they are yet to remove my inactive ads from my other site that gets NO traffic or clicks.

At first i thought.. oh well ill just re-sumbit my site. But i checked my earnings and all the money made by my forum (around $7) no longer exists and has been taken off completely with out a trace.. which to me is well screwed up

The ads were getting constant clicks and the forum is 100 times more active then my other forum that isnt used anymore, yet they remove the acitve one!? Seems dodgey to me.

End Rant.

So they shut you down without paying you? That's not right.

sammyspam,

first of all, I am sorry to hear that.

question: in their terms, conditions, or rules, do they require a minimum amount of traffic? does your forum meet their requirements? is it possible it's a mix-up?

I did read that they required a minimum amount of traffic, it was extremely small (i think in the range of 300-500 page views a day)

I easily meet this requirement, ive checked my forum stats and its showing 900 as my lowest page views per day.

Its confusing to me because I did use thier ads on an old forum of mine which was just a test of using a forum (but this has since been recieving no views or clicks, doesnt have any links to it.. isnt indexed by any search engines) yet they dont delete that?

They deleted my highly active site that makes 2-3 clicks a day at least. I thought this meant the money i earnt would stay there ($7) and that when i restarted the ads up.. I could start from where i left off to make the minimum $25.

However i lost the $7 completely, which to me is really stupid. I have contacted them about it to see what they have to say, but no reply yet.

Okay I Got My Reply (dont mind the double post here)

Dear Sam,

Thanks for the email. In general, we do not accept any type of "paid to" site. Also, we generally require that sites in English have an Alexa rank of 100K or 500-1,000 impressions a day. These rules are not set in stone, and all combine to influence the individual reviewing the site. Technically, you are not entitled to any earnings on your sites if they have not yet been reviewed (it appears that Site 33807: (http://stride.quality.0lx.net/index.php) [<---my test forum] may have accidentally been accepted). Because this site is already approved, we will allow you to retain the earnings from this site. If you still have questions about our approval process, please let us know.

Regards,

Justin

I'm glad it all turned out OK for you!

i had a site accepted by AdEngage then suddenly cancelled. Luckily I'd made not a cent from it!
