Google to Permanently Ban AdWords Scammers

Finally, Google is taking serious action to clean up AdWords.Google reportedly cleaned house in October, although their statements were few and undefinitive. However, Google is making another hard push to get scammers and spammers kicked off AdWords, and Nick Fox, Google’s Business Product Management Director for AdWords has told Search Enghine Round Table that there are new changes coming and advertisers will be banned for breaking rules. Google will begin permanently banning advertisers at the account level, meaning these advertisers will be permanently banned, and their account and any new account will be banned from participating in AdWords.

Yeah every ad could be considered spam if they don't do it properly.

I'm not sure what the large scope of the Google ban is, but I do remember all of the things people used to do through Adwords, and I have to admit that I'm glad they are cleaning it up a tad.

I take it your talking about folks who develop sites such a google cash, google cash cow, google treasure, google money maker and a slew of other rip-off websites.

There are thousands of other sites that use google's trademark or name to scam millions of people everyday.

The google adwords team has a big job ahead of them. Ridding adwords from the millions of online scammers would be like pulling teeth from a live shark! They gotta be careful who and how it will be done.
