Default Hi Everyone!

After searching the web for months and going to people's pages that constantly don't provide much help and try to sell me something, I finally stumbled upon Lisa's youtube video. I ended up going to Lisa's website 2createawebsite.com/traffic. I learned more in an hour than I did elsewhere spending hundreds of hours, so thank you Lisa.

I have one main concern after reading Lisa's traffic tips about writing articles, blog or creating an eBook. I know I should choose a topic within my site's theme to write about and I understand someone can write useful information about home improvement, acne, web building, etc. Am I already doomed cause my site sells stuffed animals, etc. because I can't think of a topic that aligns with my websites theme. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to building a good website and hope to learn more from the more experienced here. Nice to meet you all!

Hi and welcome Cheese,

You are not doomed, you just may have to put on your creative hat and think outside of the box. The great thing about the net is that you can always find an audience. What about teaching people how to make stuffed animals and sell them on the Web? Surely there are people out there who would love to create a stuffed animal business so you can do your research and create a how-to section on your site about that.

So those are the kinds of things you can think of in regards to expanding your site content-wise.

Oh and also, be sure to start a "New Thread" if your post is not related to the original question/thread. You're new so I'll let this one slide. You can start a new topic by selecting "New Thread" at the top of the forum page.

Hi michmusings, welcome to WebsiteBabble.

I have taken a look at your blog, and I think there are several ways you can profit from it. To profit from a blog, you would have to appeal to and attract a group of people, which will be your audience.

Based on the few blog entries you've written, I think you can probably have a ton of people who would like to be your audience:

1) People who are just married
2) People who wants to go through with a K1 visa
3) People who want to move to the U.S.
4) People who just moved to the U.S.
5) Filipino-Americans, in general.
6) ... (?) - It sounds like you've had a wide array of life experiences, so the possibilities are endless!

So start here: think about who you want your audience to be, and how you want to express your thoughts (or musings ) in a way that benefits their questions and needs.

Sorry I babbled too much... I tend to Let us know what you think.

By the way, I noticed that you sitemeter says "60" - I think that's a good amount of traffic considering that your blog is less than a month old and you've only written 6 entries. Do you know what is the source of your traffic?

Hope this helps a little.
