Default Hello, planning on taking my knowledge to the next level

I joined this site in other to get the best tips and help from webmaster and future webmasters. Sorry for dropping a question on my first post but this is for lisa.

I checked out your videos and blogs, I didn't really read everything through due to the time. But I have some questions and your website was a great help. It helped me with the fear of failing and the sort. When I told my parents this they opened up my bank account and told me to go ahead, I was surprised too. Now I took web page design and I'm going to take adv web page design when I start up this semester. But I don't know, I know I can do the coding because I used to make games. But I don't know about templates and making nice designed sites. I have dreamweaver and it is way easier than notepad but I don't want to buy templates or steal any either. How can I do that? Your success story is amazing and now you take it easy and help out others. Do you still design sites and sell them? Also for Adsense is that for your main site where you design for example maybe a game or sport people enjoy and you generate money from the ad clicks and traffic for that? I have friends who make like 500-1000 dollars for each site they sell and I have one friend who says if he tries he can make 1000 a week. I loved web page design before the money but I would like to take it easy and not rush into anything too quickly. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome!

If you don't want to code yourself you can get templates from www.freecsstemplates.org and open them in Dreamweaver to make edits.

I don't design sites for other people. I only make money from the Adsense ads that are displayed on my website.

I'm a little confused about your friend's sites. Are you saying they are creating sites and then selling them? Is that what you want to do?

I also hope you want to hear from other members here as well. I'm not the only person making money online here so everyone else feel free to chime in too.

Well thanks you. I know a lot of people make money here since I looked around and a lot of people are doing well. I just wanted to send you a message on youtube but I wasn't able to due to not being a friend of yours so I came here to post it. As for my friend he designs and codes websites for money and sells them, he has his own little business. One of them says he doesn't use Adsense since he already generates traffic since companies come to him for support. The other one that makes the most said he uses Adwords. I want to make websites and sell them as well but I will like to make a website and use Adsense as well since in the past I had a site where I attracted a lot of people to join that interested people in a certain genre, if I known early I could had generated something out of it even though I was using a free host. But know that Adsense is strict I don't know what to do. Thanks for the free templates, I can use that for my main site. But would it be right to use templates that were made by others and use them or edit them and sell websites? Did you(Lisa) or anyone else sell websites and did you have to make your own template?

Well if I'm going to sell my websites I would definitely design my own templates from scratch. I wouldn't use templates from another site and then sell the website. That would violate their copyrights I'm sure. I was providing that link if you were going to build your own website and make money from AdSense like I do.

Okay thanks for the confirmation, I'm working on building websites from scratch now. Bout do you know another way of C2C, instead of Adsense since I don't have 6 months.

Hi Mohamoud,

welcome to the forums, and yes you can use more then one program, but each program has its own terms of use and in them you can find out if they allow a certain program or not, for instance adsense allow adbrite on the same site.

Cheers, Amr
