Thumbs up Webdev Wins The $300!!

Congratulations, Webdev! You have been selected as WebsiteBabble's MVP (Most Valuable Poster) and will be awarded the $300! Thank you so much for your valuable contributions, following the rules and helping make Website Babble a success!

And to everyone else, let me just say that selecting a winner was not easy. There are several of you who have helped grow my new site and for that I'm truly grateful. Thank you!! It was very difficult to only select one person to receive the prize. In fact, because it was so difficult and a bit of a strain on me, the next contest will be more random and there will be multiple winners. Stay tuned because I will be announcing the details soon.

Congratulations, again Webdev!!

LOL Gavin, Yes Lisa just launched this forum a few months ago and in order to get the participation going she offered a reward for the most valuable poster (MVP). Very clever marketing if ya ask me.

Congrats Webdev! You deserve it!

Can't wait to hear about the next contest, Lisa!

Congrats Webdev!!

And I truly hope the activity on this forum activity doesn't die down because the award has been given. I noticed the activity picked up at the end of the month right around prize giveaway time. This is a great forum (awards or not) and I've learned a ton and will continue to post! Looking forward to learning more.

That was definitely a risk I was willing to take and I also hope that's not the case. But I guess only time will tell. While I'm sure the money was a big motivation for some (and understandably so!), I certainly hope people will continue to chat whether or not there's a cash reward or not.

Thanks everyone! These three months were a great learning experience for me. I couldn't thank enough to Lisa and the community for their help. This place is by far better than some other popular forums where you get bashed for being a noob and asking too many questions..lol

I wanna write a big reply to this thread but I'm so burned out from my day job and the daily commute to work and back that I'm ready fall out my chair...lol.

But i will say few things...

I stumbled upon websitebabble at a time when i was struggling with the thought of not knowing anything about online marketing and money making and growing frustrated from knowing how much people are making online.

At that time websitebable was just launched. It just so happen that i ended up on this forum at a good time

I can now truly say that websitebable has helped in many ways. It taught me to have patience which i totally lacked. It showed me how to approach online media as an affiliate to earn money online.

I had been struggling for 8 months before (in which i built a social networking site) to get traffic. Websitebabble gave me the knowledge, wisdom and enough courage to start a content site which i saw traffic to with in days of starting. Now that was exciting All thanks to websitebabble.

Just having discussions with people and reading through the forum is always informative. I see so many people with valuable knowledge and experience here, even thou most of us here are new comers to this arena. I truly like to see everyone in here to help each other and succeed because one day we will be the next webmasterworld forum on the net and each and everyone in here today will be an expert affiliate/online marketing guru by then. Now, that's what i like to see.

Anyway, guys, its time for me hit the sack...

Thanks for the award lisa and thanks everyone for the support.

Congrats Webdev. You've definitely been a super post-er!

For various reasons, I have been out of the Website Babble loop for a while, so I wanted to say congrats and hope you are doing well. Last time we talked, you seemed to be discontent with results from your website, I hope all that is taken care of it

I will see you around.

thanks ssmorgan. My site is coming along ok now. It's slow gaining traffic. I just needed to realize that it's takes time to establish your presence on the web when you're just starting out.
