Hello all! Will I ever understand all this....
I'm from upstate NY and while not a newbie to the WWW, am very much a newbie to website creation. I actually did create a website about 8 months ago but it was very poorly thought out and I lost interest. I'm soaking up everything on 2createawebsite (I'm done with 2planawebsite) and am actually planning this time around....hoping to pick some brains and offer whatever small contributions I can. I have to say, I feel like a complete dunce but I'm really glad to be here.
Hi Kerry!

Hi Need2bFree,
First, I like your screenname!
I am glad you went through Lisa's website about planning. Research and planning before starting a website make a huge difference. Almost everyone fails at his/her first attempt to get into the internet marketing world... so good thing you have that done and over with! Looking forward to your success!
Welcome to Website Babble!

Hi and welcome Need2bFree,
First of all, you are in a place almost all of us have been in before (I know I have). Tons of information overload, wondering what's the best place to start, and the list goes on. Well that's why this forum is here. So when you're ready to start asking questions, just find the appropriate section on this forum and fire away. There are plenty of awesome people here willing to help answer your questions.
Hang in there, you'll be fine.

Welcome to the forums!
Looks like you have learned from you previous experience. That is always a good step. I always said that "mistakes were meant to be learned from".

Welcome and glad to have you with us.
Glad to see you bouncing back. You know the old saying (everything about me is getting old it seems), it isn't how many times you go down, it's how many times you get up.
Good luck with your new project, whatever it turns out to be.
There's lots of good help here. I learn something every day.

Hey Needs:
Welcome and remember...
This is basically like eating an elephant; one bite at a time.
I have found that when working on my sites, I do what I can with what I have available until I hit an issue I can't solve myself. Then I will go to the forums (here) to get a solution to that issue and move on to the next.
This is definitely more of a "Journey" than a "Destination".
Enjoy and don't stress about it.

The original quote is:
"It's not how many times you get knocked down; it's how many times you get back up."
