I hate the title "Newbie", lol !

Hi everyone, hope to get to know you all and learn stuff...anything website building. I've played around with some simple stuff which produced several websites but I really want to learn stuff like php and the like. I have played around with cgi a bit but I still feel like I'm way behind where I want to be. My goal at the moment is to learn how to build my own message board. Any help would be fun and if I can return the favor I will.

I use AceFTP but have FireFox's FireFTP 1.0. I mostly use FireFox as my browser. I have 2 paid hosts (one main and 1 back-up) both equipped with php, cgi, etc. My hosts are Fabpage and 50megs. Have dabbed around with contact forms one works the other does not

I have a tendency to blow up me computers A fault that has made me learn how to fix them so it's ok I love gaming equipment on my pc but I use it mostly for video My son tells me it's a waste and he wants my pc Anyways, hope to meet a few new freinds....well I lie....hope to meet ALOT of new freinds !

Thanks Lisa ! It was your site I stumbled on when I was checking out php in google. I saw your FTP video and was impressed at how helpful and informative you are. I just kept clicking away and here I am. I believe I am in the right place to learn. Thank you so much for this forum. Now back to studying that PHP Nuke in that thread. I've unzipped the file and will see what I can do with it. Part of me is excited and the other is...well.....I'll not admit I'm scared on a forum
