Talking Hello guys I'm a new member to this site. I"M EXCITED!!!

Hello guys this is officially my first forum that I'm involved in.

I've got to be honest I'm pretty darn excited about being involved in a community that is revolved in the same things I am. That's to build a successful online business, help as many people as you can, and stay focused on what's most important.

I've been actively blogging sense August of last year. I haven't made any real money.
#1. My very first website was an fitness dvd's that I spent about a month doing and got good feedback, however that's not what I want to do at the moment and WILL go back to that.
#2. My second website was for my Uncle's Remodeling company and I wanted to try and land him business so I could work, and earn a small extra percentage on what any business that he landed from the website. However he didn't think he was necessary to have a website. (C'MON get with the times man??) He didn't help me by getting pictures of his work, or testimonials. You know the things that you NEED to drive your website. So I ditched that website.
#3. I created an NFL website where put like 200+ hours of putting content (33,800) words of content to be exact. Video's, links, and about 30 articles. All to which became outdated as the year passed. So I got pretty burnt out, after spending all that time, and energy to create something just so for it to be outdated.

So where I am today is I wanted to create an NBA website but I've learned a lot of lessons. I'm waiting for my domain from go daddy to transfer and I'm ready to jump in the thick of things. I'm REALLY eagir to jump into and have many great idea's. I've learned from my past and ready to learn from my present-future, to create a great future for myself.

    Thanks Matt

Great to have you here Matt. I like that you haven't given up and sometimes experience is the best primer for success so good for you for trying something new and keep going at it.

    Welcome to the Babble!

Glad to have you join the forum, a great place to learn and share.

Lisa is right about the experience. Of course, as you know, some people get ten years of valuable experience while others get one year of experience repeated ten times! There are lots of lessons written between the lines of your post and we hope they all have helped prepare you for a better future.
    Good Success!

Thanks guys it's greatly appreciated. I read a lot of personal development books. I'm actually aware of Earl Nightingale he was one of the first guys in the Personal Development game, and influenced many leaders today.

I understand it's about action, consistency, over a long period of time, and I will eventually get to where I want to be.

    Thanks for the support.

Nice to have you here. You remind me of some of my own failed sites (you could argue I haven't had 1 successful one yet) where I had spent so much time and effort creating images and content, only for it to be outdated or upstaged by competing sites. I can create websites so fast now, plus I have the benefit of hindsight and best practice to keep things on track.

I'm sure you'll agree it gets easier over time as you learn what works and what doesn't.
