    Welcome to the Babble!

Glad to have you join the forum, a great place to learn and share.

There are a million ways to get acquainted with this field, but you can't do better than to follow these two approaches:

First, check out Lisa's 2Create a Website. Don't just read the front page. Take a look at all the areas she discusses there. Follow the links at the bottom of the page and in the left column. If you read all that you will begin to get a good idea. Her ebooks are really tops as well. I have bought and read them. They will give you the best advice you can get anywhere.

Then read a bit in all the areas of this forum. You will get a good idea of all the various issues that face webmasters. You need to know a little about all of these things to get a good idea of where you are going and to avoid drifting into problem areas.
    Good Success!

    Hi
If you want to start a blog I think you should take a look at Wordpress CMS. It is great and it is free. You might also want to look for a good domain name, but must important: What do you want to write about? Make a good plan and read all you can on 2Create a Website before you begin. You can learn a lot from Lisa and she also has a lot of great videos.

    Good luck
    Best regards
