Default welcome message response

Dear Sherif,
Thank you for the message accepting me into the group of 'babblers'. I have been playing around with site building for long, have booked some domains and installed joomla in three of them. On one I have installed worpress. I have now a thorough knowledge of joomla administration and extending a joomla site. But the catch is I am feeling high and dry whenever I think of niche ideas. Have you ever stepped into the wet sand at a seashore? You must have then noticed that whenever you step on to the sand, water from the wet sand recedes and a white patch is revealed around your foot. Like wise I feel drained of ideas when I think of one. Other ideas I have are hazy and I hear only some far whispers. Can this forum help me to find niche ideas for my website? I have not mentioned my domains for fear of being stamped a spammer. Thanking you and Lisa again for the wonderful forum

Hi and welcome!

There are a ton of helpful people here that will be more than happy to help and provide suggestions. Just make sure you post your questions in the appropriate section of this forum. The Website Ideas - Brainstorming and Research forum is a good place to ask questions about your niche.

But ultimately it's about doing some internal evaluations and choosing something you are passionate about and good demand. The great thing about the net is that there is an audience for almost any topic. You just have to decide your topic and the angle/approach you are going to take. Go with what you love first and foremost.

mukundguruji,

You are very welcome!

I completely understand where you're coming from as far as selecting a niche. I have definitely been there.

As Lisa mentioned, go ahead and start a new thread in "The Website Ideas - Brainstorming and Research" area. If you're comfortable with that, list a few ideas, and I and others would be happy to help you narrow down your topic/niche.

Welcome to the forum. It is refreshing that there are still people like you in the world who are considerate and are concerned about following rules.

Lisa does allow us to place our domains in our signature line. You can also ask the good citizens of website babble to review and give feed back on your design work in the "site review" forum.

I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Default Welcome and glad to have you with us.

Welcome mukundguruji,

When you study almost anything it can become quite interesting. If new ideas aren't coming I get busy learning more about my subject. You never know it all. And soon new ideas start jumping out.

One of the best ways to pick up topics, I think, is to start researching your topic of interest and when you find difficulty locating good information on some specific, latch onto it. If you are curious others probably are, too. Write up what you eventually learn.

A lot of people here ask questions about Joomla so I know you can be a help to them.

Post clearing the haze with light!

Thank You Lisa for sparing your valuable time.
Thank You ssmorgan, alpha7, James, TechieGuy and all who have made me think that I have atlast come to the right place.

When do we become aware of the value of something, when it is seen in abundance or when it is spares? Here is the answer: We think of light not in the day time, but in the night.
Thank you all who attempt to light my path. Thank you!

Default I am back-sorry that I have to leave the company for a while

Dear members,
I am back, still confused about what niche to anchor to. Whenever an idea flashes into my head, I conduct a search or research in the internet, and alas, there, google lists millions of pages. I become dumbfounded and turn back with a befuddled cranium. These people had peered into every nook and cranny of this fuzzy world and had expostulated their funny ideas about them. What a pity! hmmmmm.......................

But a page appeared in one of my web sites. hehehehe.............
