Your site is amazing. I would like to ask a couple of questions. Did you design it yourself? The coding shows a lot of knowledge of programming, etc. as well as design. Also, I hope you will share a little about how you promoted traffic. If the counter is accurate you have had a tremendous number of visits for the time it has been online, or has it been online a lot longer and the counter is only reporting the last few months.

thankyou for your welcome and kindness, i was quite suprised at your comments to be honest lol.
my site has only been up and running since march this year, though i painstakenly moved everything over from a free site i had previously to this one.
i am very new to html and css, i am learning as i go along but im still a lil weary after making a big mistake recently that i couldnt fix by myself.
the site like many has optional layouts but they are very basic, so i managed to add things as and when i felt neccessary, such as portol blocks and changing the size of the overal header and adding the blocks for the graphics and links.
the graphics are made by me in paintshop pro using tubes (i am by no means an artist ) lol.

as for promoting my site hun, my methods are pretty basic, i registerd on all the main search engines such as google, yahoo, and msn, and from there a million other free sites lol.
i joined a few advertising forums where i could do a sml write up and add my links ect, i have a myspace, a face book , a bebo and im also registerd on paranormal yellow pages which is fairly new but is a direct hit for my site.
i have joined a few other paranormal sites where ive added my link to my sig and try to make posts at least once a week.

ive been searching this forum for ways to do exchanges and have tried a couple of post exchanges but im still waiting for a result them.
thanks to you guys i aslo had a go at yahoo answer, and although i have no idea where the traffics coming from, ive had 3 new members in the past week

so il keep trucking with the help of you guys and hopefully it can only get better.

the design is practically all mine and the graphics, but because im new to all this html and css i have to rely on a great guy from intergramod who will do his best to pull me out of a hole if i get stuck bless him lol.

im starting to wonder if my new look might give people the wrong impression,
why were you suprised to discover i had a forum hun?

does my site not give the impression of being a paranormal site /forum ?

sorry if im being a bit paranoid lol, im just looking for any ideas and suggestions of how if any it needs to be improved futher.xxx

I too was impressed by your site. I loved the looping video lay-out on the home page. It really had a high tech paranormal research command center type feel.

At first glance, I didn't know it was a forum either. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. Your site just kind of grabs you and pulls you in. Is that some kind of mind power you possess? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Anyway, I loved the site.
