I finally joined the online community with my first site. I have plans for multiple sites that will concentrate on different ideas, but for now, one step at a time. I registered here because I believe I can learn a great deal from those who post here. Hopefully I can also contribute something substantive.

Thank you for the welcome. This is my first attempt at site development. I still have little clue about what I am doing, but I know enough to stumble around the dark room and work my way toward designing my own site. I have read a great deal on this board (some I wish I had read before I started on my journey, but the best lessons are oft learned from the mistakes made along the way), and I am taking the advice from those who have gone before me, i.e., I am first concentrating on developing quality content. If the content is there, I believe as many have said that the relevant traffic will follow. There are still a few tweaks I will be making in the near future, but for now I am satisfied with the design. The focus has shifted to content delivery.
