Question about spam

Sorry, I'm not sure what board to put this in, though once this is answered it'll probably be closed anyway.

Just wondering, if for example someone needs help and I know a good tutorial site with the solution, is it spam to post a link - just a link, not a site I own or anything - to that site in that thread?

Or would it be better to write something like "There's a good site called {NAMEHERE}, google that."
