Default Shopgirl saying hi

Hello,

Well, let's see. I'm not new to computers having started working on them with a Commodore 64 over 25 years ago. Code was all you had back then. That's not to say I know what I'm doing now however. So much has changed, so fast, I can't keep up.

I'm starting a new site that's a store directory with a few new twists. I hope I'll be able to bounce ideas off you guys and I'll need lots of advise when it comes to code and figuring out how to get things done.

I hope to be able to help with marketing ideas and maybe some business sense. I went online with my dream business 6 years ago and did very well until the net got so flooded with competitors and some personal things that sidetracked me but were necessary. I learned a lot from it and while I'm sad to see it come to an end (my choice), I'm excited to move on. I figured if you can't beat 'em, make money off 'em - Right?

I've started on this new venture and am really looking forward to it. I think the changes we're seeing online are really interesting and hope to blaze a new trail......with some help, of course.....hint, hint.

Thank you Lisa for this wonderful forum! I love the way you think!!!

Commodore 64! My uncle had one of those and I thought it was sooooo cool. Wow many of the younger people probably haven't even heard of that system. That's funny. Anyway, welcome to the forums!

Thanks, Lisa.

Yup, C64. I know that makes me sound really old, doesn't it? Okay, maybe I am, but that's okay, really. Just older than....home PCs....oh, God, I am old.

Well, I'm looking forward to hearing from all you young folk and see if there are any oldies but goodies out there like me.

Hey, Welcome to WebsiteBabble.

I moved from an old Windows 95 to a Windows XP (big change!)

Enjoy your stay.
