Hi all,
When you start a new thread, please remember to make your post subjects describe the content of the thread. I was looking for a thread one day and I knew what section it was in but couldn't find it just by browsing that section. So I used the forum "Search" function and found it. I discovered the reason I couldn't find it by simply browsing the section was because the subject of the thread was "help".
It makes it useful for everyone browsing the forum if you use a descriptive subject. That doesn't mean a long subject, just something that describes what it's about. For example, "Question about HTML" is much better than "Help."
Not to mention, Google spiders and indexes these forum posts quickly so using descriptive posts also gives your thread a chance to be found in Google. That's what happened with a thread Webdev posted about SitePoint. And who knows, someone could find your site as result of a thread you posted.
So everyone wins.
Just a friendly request from your Admin. Thanks everyone.
