I am new today, but been building websites since 1995. Gosh, you'd think I would be a gazillionaire by now, but alas I am not.

Been programming a banks internal website application for the last 4 years, but got laid off with the sub-prime mess.

So now I am looking to build a brand of one as Ken would say, but just starting out again and have found Lisa's tutuorials very helpful and inspiring.

Welcome my friend to the forums, hopefully you can create a successful site earning lots of money and getting your fair share of adsense pay checks through the mailbox.

Have you bought SBI! yet or are you on the verge? Theres quite a few people here that have SBI sites and doing really well i know that West and Theresa are doing great with there sites so far and have found a really good niche and hope you will to and best of all your a web designer so your bound to create an attractive website!! And there's also people who've made success with a different route, what ever path you chose I hope you find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Yes, I plan to go with SBI. There new features which were noted by Lisa pushed me over the top:

Infin It! is now in beta. It enables you to plug the
following kinds of functionality into subdomains of your
SBI! site...

-- create forums (phpBB)
-- have WordPress blogs
-- create stores/shopping carts
-- do your own scripts (php, perl, etc.)/database work
-- use a domain to host a sales site for an e-book
-- use a subdomain to host more content.

I am reading Ken's "Make your Site Pre-Sell" right now, and found that they have a two for one speical until the 4th, which I want to take advantage.
